Peter Simmonds joined WorkWave last year as our VP and GM for International, heading up the EMEA and APAC regions. Peter brings with him over a decade of executive experience in senior management and leadership roles within Europe and Asia for global SaaS companies. Peter is responsible for driving growth and overall customer satisfaction for all of our customers in EMEA and APAC.

Initial focus

During his first year with the company, Peter has met with a large number of customers and has identified three core themes coming through to the surface.

Our customers manage large distributed workforces and require 24/7 access to our products that connect entire teams – from front-line workers to back-end administrative personnel. Therefore a core focus throughout this time has been to ensure high levels of reliability and continue to look for ways to improve.

“First and foremost, it is critical that our clients trust and have confidence in our solutions. This has been an initial focus of mine, and I feel we’re in a much better place after considerable effort from all teams.” The work to deliver a reliable service via our dedicated teams never stops and we will continue to improve the uptime and availability of our products to our customers.

Innovation

Our products have a rich heritage and are used and loved by over 225+ customers and hundreds of users. The level of investment and innovation over the past few years has been into the foundations of our products, future proofing our technology whilst building more robust platforms. As we make headway into 2025 we are excited to share with our customers our next generation of technology which brings with it layers of AI and Data analytics. These will be a critical area of focus in the future as our customers need greater visibility of performance and improved efficiency - both of these will factor strongly in our future roadmap and we are excited to share these plans with you as the year unfolds.

Simplified User Experience

In our fast paced industry the need for simplicity and enhanced overall user experience is key to our clients and allows them to act with speed and provide a greater service to their end customer. With more and more enhancements coming through to our new Timegate+ platform we are excited to continue to build on this experience for our customers and continue to build a greater UI and UX into our platform.

Looking ahead

Peter is focused on delivering outstanding reliability and innovation to our customers and transitioning customers to our new Timegate+ platform via the in progress migrations.
